We collect certain information or data about you when you register for CAWSEL via EventReference.
 
 We collect:
  
  • The data you fill in on the registration form.
  • Chosen payment method
  • Transaction ID if payment via PayPal. Please familiarise yourself with the Privacy Policy for PayPal Services.
  • your IP address, and details of which version of web browser you used.
  • information on how you use the site, using cookies.
 
We collect additional data after registration via email or post:
 
  • proof of student or charity status
  • record of bank transactions if payment via bank / wire transfer
 
This data can be viewed by authorised staff of Opening Doors & Venues as Appointed Course Organiser and Dr Anthony Podberscek as Course Owner for the legitimate interests of the Courses which in this case is to:
 
  • aid appropriate planning and delivery of courses
  • check and confirm payments and eligibility
  • send you reminders, reading lists, attendance certificates and other relevant information relating to the courses you signed up for before, during and after the courses
  • send you hard copy attendance certificates via post if requested
  • send you email updates on future editions of CAWSEL
 

 
Where your data is stored:
We store your data on secure servers in the European Economic Area (EEA). We may also download a copy of the data to store on our secure company server in the EU and secure company computers for backup purposes.
 
By submitting your personal data, you agree to this.
 

 
Keeping your data secure:
Sending information over the internet is generally not completely secure, and we can’t guarantee the security of your data while it’s in transit.
 
Any data you send is at your own risk.
 
We have procedures and security features in place to keep your data secure once we receive it.
 
We will store your data for 3 years or until you instruct us to remove it.

We will only pass on your personal information if we have a legal obligation to do so.
 
Limited data will be shared with Course lecturers prior to the course as a legitimate interest and this is limited to:
  • Name, surname, organisation/university, job role/degree
 
Limited data will be shared with St Catharine’s College as the venue for the legitimate interest of on-site security, catering and layout planning. This data is limited to
  • Name, surname, organisation/university, job role/degree
  • Dietary requirements
  • Special requirements
 
We will not share your information with any other organisations for marketing, market research or commercial purposes, and we won't pass on your details to any other websites.
